The thrilling action continued into overtime and the final quarter, with Jacksonville's Thompson completing a 5-yard touchdown pass to Chark, but the extra point was unsuccessful. This put Jacksonville in the lead with a score of 23-17. However, Los Angeles (A) quickly responded, and Herbert threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Campbell, followed by a successful extra point, making the final score 24-23 in favor of Los Angeles (A).

Both teams exhibited a strong offensive performance throughout the game. Los Angeles (A) had 363 total net yards, with Herbert making 26 completions out of 43 attempts for 248 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, Ekeler led the rushing efforts with 82 yards on 15 carries.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville put up an impressive 415 total net yards, with Thompson making 26 completions out of 40 attempts for 278 yards and three touchdowns. Robinson Jr. was a standout performer in the rushing department, gaining 80 yards on 12 carries.

Defensively, both teams showcased solid performances, with Los Angeles (A) recording five missed tackles and Jacksonville recording four. Los Angeles (A) also managed to sack Jacksonville's quarterback three times, while Jacksonville's defense registered one sack.

Unfortunately, both teams suffered injuries during the game. Los Angeles (A) had to deal with the loss of Taylor, who will be out for three weeks, along with other players such as Pugh and Allen. Jacksonville, on the other hand, had to deal with the absence of Dogbe and other players due to injuries.

Herbert's standout performance in the match earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title. His excellent decision-making and precise passing were crucial in securing Los Angeles (A)'s victory.
